As a former employee of this place I want to give it a high rating for its former level of quality and consistency. The original menu created for Waypoint pizza is unique and delicious, has a variety of choice without too many choices that could conceivably overwhelm someone. I ordered a Walk the Flank, which is a classic between the sheets style sandwich with steak in a pizza dough crust with a Caesar salad and tomatoes. It was good but I felt like the steak was overcooked and over-salted, possibly not the highest quality beef and overall I was a little disappointed because this item, and a lot of their signature items used to really hit the spot when you were having a craving for them and had high expectations from their previous ability to deliver high quality food. The Thai BBQ chicken was another "between the sheets" style sandwich item I really enjoyed. I have to say the service felt a little less inviting this last time I went in there which was probably about 2 years ago now, I'm aware it changed hands quite some time ago I'm not sure when. I was also oddly approached by some random intimidating seeming stanger while waiting for my food, who seemed determined to get me to give him a personal review of the place to which I kinda responded I wasn't in the mood for his pushy creeper BS. I used to work there from around 2004-2014 sporadically between some of my seasonal jobs often times whenever the college aged employees went back to school. It was well managed by the previous owners Melissa and various proficient co-managers over the years. I earned a fair wage and we all pooled tips, and were never overworked or disrespected by managers or staff in my experience. and the quality of ingredients and skill level of the cooks was always high too. The servers were generally pretty helpful, sometimes young but generally functional, friendly human beings. I was in my 20's-30's working here and enjoyed a lot of the staff that I got to work with over the years, even if there was an occasional prick or immature youngin here or there, it was mostly tolerable, as far as job atmosphere's go. We were always fed a free meal for each shift, which is actually rare with a lot of service jobs these days. It's a pity this place seems to have lost its stellar reputation for a being a great family spot for casual but high quality dining and consistently high quality ingredients, and in high traffic tourist destination too. My parents live in Tiburon so I would love to see this place improve a bit to its original level of appeal, because I do still crave a Walk The Flank, a salad and/or slamming pizza pie from time to time when I'm in town. Four stars because I haven't been here and tried a lot of the things consistently here for a while but I just hope the slumping trend I noticed with a lot of restaurants doesn't continue. People pay good money they worked hard or saved for and don't deserve to be ripped off, or price gouged just because some restaurants aren't great at business and need to dubiously cover their losses. Just saying.

It was pretty awkward when no one said "Welcome" or asked us if we were to dine-in or take out. The people looked at us & said nothing. So we initiated it & told them we needed a table for 4. They then told us to sit where ever we wanted & we did. Just as we sat, a server came with menus, a bottle of water & glasses. He even took our drink orders. He was friendly & attentive. This is our 2nd visit & we really enjoyed the food the last time. We just remember how delicious the sausage was & the freshness of the salad. The Gourmet Sausage Pizza was exactly as we remembered. It paired well with the Transpac Salad. This time we tried The Walk the Flank Between the Sheets. It looked yummy but we had to ask for instructions on how to eat it! It's fold over pizza, like a taco with pizza dough. The steak was perfectly seasoned & flavorful with the veggies. It's a little messy to eat but so worth it. This joint is a 75 min drive from home on a weekend, with no traffic. It is so worth the drive!

Surprised to see the low score. We thought it was really good. We got bbq chicken and shrimp basil garlic pasta. Both were really good. They also had soft serve which hit the spot. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The pizza is good and fairly priced and the service is friendly. The decor is absolutely adorable with comfy booths and outdoor seating. I'm surprised to find such a reasonable place downtown!

We tried a slice of their Hawaiian. A MUST TRY! I'm a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur!!! The one thing I've never had in a "perfect pizza" is where it's thin and NONE of the sauce/toppings are falling off. That's my version of perfect! Usually pizza places have pre-canned pineapples... the pineapples we had was freshly cut! Game CHANGER. This is 1st on my list as far as pizza goes! The staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming. It's a family friendly environment and they are right next to the water and docking area. We'll be back and we wished we would've taken a box home!

When visiting Tiburon for a day, hunger drove us to find something closest to us and there was Waypoint Pizza. We didn't expect much of it, but since pizza is a safe bet usually we decided to give it a go. Interior is very casual diner-like. Really happy with that decision! We got a table by the window so it was good for people watching. We ordered a half & half pizza, with pomodoro one half and grilled vegetable other half. Both pizzas tasted really good. We also ordered a beer and wine- they have small but good selection. Our server was good at answering our queries and food was on time too. Overall it was a happy experience for us.

I've walked by this little pizza joint in Tiberon, but just haven't made the time to stop in. On this occasion I was craving a slice of pizza and said why not. This place is relatively small but big enough to handle a good size groups of people along with bar seating. What's an adder to this place is they have a TV at the bar counter if you want to grab a slice while taking in Sunday football. The menu you can choose from their specialty pizzas, soups and salads, pasta. On this visit I went with a Pepperoni pizza slice. The slices are quite oversized, which was a very pleasant surprise and loved it. I'm a thin crust guy and the dough was crisp and tasty. Waypoint also serve's wine and soft serve ice-cream. I really enjoyed my food and visit to Waypoint pizza and will be back again soon.
